I’m a qualified implantologist, not a dentist who will be referring you elsewhere. I hold a BDS and an MSc from the University of Leeds in the UK, I’m DHA-approved with a dedicated implant privilege, and I’ve spent 8+ years focused on restorative and implant dentistry. To date I’ve helped more than 300 patients replace missing teeth with implants.

The Dental Implant Procedure —What to Expect
Most people are nervous about two things: whether it will hurt, and how long it takes. Here’s exactly how the process works with me.
1. Consultation
I examine your mouth, take a CBCT scan, and check your bone. This tells us whether you’re a candidate, whether same-day placement is possible, and if any grafting is needed
2. Digital planning
I plan the exact position and angle of your implant on the 3D model before I ever pick up an instrument. This is what makes guided surgery so precise.
3. Implant placement
The implant is placed under local anaesthetic. Most patients are surprised by how comfortable it is — you’ll feel pressure, not pain, and the appointment is usually shorter than a filling. Where suitable, I fit a temporary tooth the same day
4. Healing (osseointegration)
Over roughly 3–4 months the implant fuses with your bone. You carry on with daily life; any soreness in the first few days is easily managed with standard pain relief
5.Your final crown & aftercare
Once healed, I fit your permanent, custom-made tooth. I’ll show you exactly how to care for it, and I see you for reviews to keep everything healthy long-term
